Hotel Guaranducha Inn

Discover our history

The Guaranducha Inn Hotel, located in the heart of Campeche’s historic center, has a fascinating history that dates back to the pre-Columbian era of the 16th century. Founded in 1531 by Spanish conquistadors, the historic center still preserves its dazzling colonial architecture, which remains present in our hotel. It has witnessed the evolution and charm of our historic walled city.

Originally, the building that now houses our hotel was a colonial residence that later became a small inn for travelers. Over the years, it has been renovated, adapted, and modernized to offer a comfortable and welcoming experience to our guests, while maintaining our authenticity and historical character.

Your getaway starts here

We are proud to be part of a historic center declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, thanks to the preservation of our colonial architecture, with high ceilings, tiled floors, and interior courtyard. Each room is elegantly decorated and equipped with modern amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. From the terrace, guests can enjoy panoramic views, colorful colonial façades, and cobblestone streets, as well as the iconic Campeche Cathedral and the Church of the Sweet Name of Jesus. In addition, the strategic location of our hotel provides easy access to the main attractions, restaurants, and shops in the area.
